American Express Bank scored above average in our overall ratings. Even though the bank only offers savings and CD accounts, we found them to be worth investing into. The customer service was top notch as well, with its availability and timeliness scoring high in our ratings. While American Express Bank has only been around since 2000, it is certainly shaping up to be a reputable institution with rates comparable to major banks. If you have had good experiences with their credit cards, expect the same when it comes to American Express banking.
