American Express Bank offers great CD accounts.  The length of the CDs range from six months to five years and the rates that American Express Bank offers are competitive with other major banks.  What makes their CD accounts stand out is that there are very few if any fees associated with them.  Of course there is the early withdrawal penalty, but other than that everything else is pretty straightforward.  This is definitely an account to consider if their rates are above the national average.
