Ratings of Citibank Website Usability   (3/5)

Overall we found Citibank to have average website usability compared to other major banks.  As far as its upsides the website is very easy to navigate and has an appealing interface with a look that doesn’t scream monotonous in any way.  The problems arise when it comes to the information available for each account.  For instance, the money market account page does not show interest rates upfront at all, and to figure out rates for interest bearing accounts one has to complete an online form instead of the information being presented to you quickly.  The CD account page shows rates upfront though, so it is very odd why this account page is so different than the rest.  Nonetheless, the sign up process was both fast and easy, with a 4 step process that anyone can do in 15 minutes or less.
