ING Direct Bank Ratings – Website Usability   (4/5)

ING offers above average website usability, with information presented in a simple and straightforward manner.  One cannot help but notice the distinctive orange and blue colors running throughout the website, which was a bit refreshing for us to see as opposed to the mundane black and white.   When going through the various accounts that ING offers one will find that the rates are upfront as well as major features.  It would have been more helpful if they had listed penalties and fees as well, but the website’s account disclosures page is surprisingly easy to read and get through.  It is as if they had the customer in mind when creating it and it is again refreshing to see.  The tips and tools area of the website provides useful information that will benefit anyone, and the FAQ areas are both thorough and to the point.  It is because of all of this that we rated ING’s website usability above average when it comes to other online banks.
