Sallie Mae Bank scored well above average in our overall review.  The interest rates offered on each account were above the national average, and the fees associated with each one were very reasonable.  What is especially great about the accounts offered at Sallie Mae Bank is that there are no minimum balance fees or monthly fees to speak of, which is refreshing to see in today’s banking climate.  Sallie Mae Bank’s website usability was fantastic, as it was very easy to navigate their website and find specific information related to each account.  The only downside to Sallie Mae Bank in our view was their customer service.  While the representatives were warm and friendly, the waiting times were no so much the same.  All in all Sallie Mae Bank is a great alternative for those looking to put their hard earned money elsewhere.
