    Suntrust Bank Customer Service Ratings

    Suntrust Bank’s customer service has its fair share of both downsides and upsides.  As far as upsides their customer service is very accessible, as one can visit one of many branches in the United States, as well as by phone and online chat.  Also, when we contacted their customer representatives the answers we received to our question were very thorough and one could clearly tell that they had been trained well.  What was strange about Suntrust Bank came in regards to the differences in customer service between visiting a branch in person and talking with representatives on the phone.  When visiting a branch in person the representatives gave us very timely responses and extremely friendly assistance, whereas on the phone the waiting times were a bit slow and the representatives were not as friendly and professional as other banks that we have encountered.  The responses received at the branches were very straightforward as well, while again on the phone not so much.  It is truly perplexing to find such differences in customer service.
