USAA Bank offers a great checking account with numerous features. Among the features included when opening an account are online banking, mobile banking, overdraft protection, free checks, and online bill pay. There are no monthly fees associated with USAA Bank’s checking account either and one only needs a $25 minimum opening deposit to open an account.

There are two more features worth mentioning when it comes to USAA Bank’s checking account. The first is that one can have up to 10 ATM transactions per statement cycle without having to pay any fees; this is well above the usual 6 transactions offered by most major banks. Another great feature is that one can earn interest on the checking account if they have at least $1,000 deposited in to the account. While it is only 0.05%, many banks do not even offer interest for checking accounts so it is a unique feature that one does not find very often.
