Take Advantage of The Most Common Bank Deals

In today's rough economy, it's very important to make your money stretch as far as possible. Many banks have caught onto this trend, and try to attract people to their services with special offers designed to address these concerns. bank-dealsIf you're looking to move your money around, there are a wide variety of bank deals available to accommodate whatever you're looking for. Here are the most common:

Cash Bonus

This is one of the most frequent, and obviously the most lucrative bonuses available. Basically, for signing up for an account, a bank will offer you a certain amount of money right into your account - sometimes in the upwards of $300!
There are, however, always requirements to fulfill before receiving your cash, (make a certain amount of purchases, deposit a minimum amount, sign up for one of their premium services, etc.), so make sure you read the fine print before you signup. Failing to do so will not just lose you the bonus money you were looking for, it sometimes can come with a fee!

Interest Rate Bonus

Let's say you're not looking for cash upfront, but you're looking to make your existing cash work harder. Finding an interest rate bonus might be what you're looking for, but be careful with that.
Often times this bank deal works like this: they offer an amazingly high interest rate on your deposit, but it's only good for 3-6 months. After that, the rate drops pretty tremendously, leaving you with an interest rate that is nearly 30% lower than what you signed up with. For people with large amounts of money, this can be a great way to get a quick return. For others, however, it might be best to avoid looking to this deal.

Free Gifts

This bonus is becoming more common these days. Sign up for whatever service they offer, and get some kind of tangible gift. Some banks are really great with the gifts they are offering, like Apple products or useful software.
Again, make sure you read the requirements to get the gift before you dive in. Often, this isn't seen as the strongest incentive offered, so it's important that you see this as an added bonus to an account you already wanted. Then again, depending how great the gift is, you could sell it and keep the cash, kind of making it a 2 for 1 bank deal!

Research Bank Deals Before Committing

Whatever you're looking for in a bank deal, make sure you do your research. You don't want to chase a great looking deal and end up with a bank account you don't want; always make sure you read the small print!
