    3.00% APY?  How can AIG Bank offer a rate so high? I’ll tell you why. Because, their 3.00% is only good for a 60 month, or 5 year track. Although you might have to wait to see this type of rate, it is worth it. The other time periods for AIG’s CDs are  nearly all within 6 month intervals. It begins with 6 months, at 1.06% APY. Then rises to 12, 18, 24, and 36 months, with 36 being 2.30% APY. To see other rates, please see their chart.
