SunTrust Banks are eliminated their monthly fee for checking cards. This is great news for consumers and comes on the heels of Bank of America announcing they will not implement their monthly debit card fee for Bank of America customers.

Banks understand that customers don’t want additional fees on what they consider free checking. Not only don’t customers want these additional fees, they are verbalizing their unhappiness and won’t stand for these charges on free checking accounts.
