Chase Bank will dodge the bullet felt by Bank of America when it comes to debit card fees and retaining their customers.  As one of the biggest banks in the industry, Chase Bank has made the decision to abandon a charge for their customers to use their debit cards.

Many financial experts have actually went as far as offering Chase kudos for their about face on the decision to charge debit card fees for banking customers.  For the previous eight months Chase has been testing their debit card fee of $3 for customers in Wisconsin and Georgia. Investors are looking pretty grim of late with investments in stocks and commodities, but not in long-term Treasury bonds. The stocks and commodities have been in a free fall with all three of the indexes down more than 3% lately. One afternoon of trading recorded a plunge of more than 500 points.
